The notification for Common Proficiency Test - December 2012, has not been published
till date.

Generally the notification for the exam is published 5-6 months before the exam.

So, you can expect the notification for the exam by the end of July or August.

The application process for the exam starts in October.

The exact last date of registering the course to be eligible to apply for the exam, is
published in the notification itself.

Generally the last date of registering the course is 3 months (approx.) before the
exam.

So, you should register for the course by the end of September so as to become
eligible to apply for the test.

the education qualification should be complete the 10+2 in any stream you can apply CA-CPT.

If you are graduate you can apply for executive course of CS directly.

You can apply for CA-CPT under any one of the following banditions

B.com with 50% or more marks

graduation in any stream without mathematics with 55% or more marks

Graduation in any stream with mathematics 60% or more marks.

Common Proficiency Test (Paper- Pencil Mode) will be held on Sunday, 16th December, 2012.

You can fill the application form online and offline.See the details below:

OFFLINE :Common Proficiency Test application forms duly filled in may be sent so as to reach the Additional Secretary (Examinations) at New Delhi not later than 26th October, 2012.

ONLINE : The candidates who fill up the examination application form online at http://icaiexam.icai.org from 8th October, 2012 (10.00 hrs) to 26th October, 2012 (17.30 hrs) and remit the fee online by using either VISA or MASTER Credit/ Debit Card .

This CPT exam is conducted by The Institute of Charted Accountants of India (ICAI).
it is conducted Common Proficiency Test twice every hear in the months of June and December.

Eligibility:

*The Students who had cleared Class XII Examinations and have registerd with ICAI befor October 5, 2012 for appearing in the CA CPT exam december 2012 are eligible to attend the exams.
