What is the minimum academics percentage in Engineering that is required to be eligible for applying for CDS entrance examination? And, when is next CDS exam going to be conducted?

CDS examination is conducted for recruitment in defence service.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Candidate passed bachelor with minimum qualifying marks are eligible to appear in the examination.

It is conducted twice in a year. So,candidates in the final year of engineering or passed are eligible to appear in the examination.

The next examination will be conducted in February 2020.

CDS is conducted by UPSC. Conducted for recruitment in defence services. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The required stream in bachelor degree varies with different wing. The examination is conducted in two stages - Written and SSB.

CDS is conducted twice a year by the UPSC and to apply for CDS. A candidate should a bachelor's degree in any manner.
To apply for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy, a candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in any manner but candidate have Physics and Mathematics in class 12th with 60% marks.
To apply for Indian Army, a candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in any manner and should be 12th pass with 60% marks.
