Admission procedure in detail with required minimum qualification to get admission and details of institutions.

the minimum qualification required for joining engineering degree is completion of inter(10+2) or the other courses equaling it and the age should be 16 years. there are entrance exams to get admissions into the engineering courses.These exams are state wise as well as national wise. you have to pass the test with a qualifying score to get the seat.

Aeronautical Engineering can be done by Two Ways : 1) Through Regular Engineering Colleges and 2) Through Professional Body Examination.
For Both you have to completed your 10+2 with PCM with 50% of Marks At least..If you are able to spend more than 3lakhs then it is better to join through regular Engineering colleges. Otherwise Through Professional Body.My suggestion is to join regular Engineering colleges.For getting admission in the regular engineering colleges for Aeronautical Engineering you have to appeared in AIEEE,TANCET(Tamilnadu common Entrance test),KCET(karnataka common Entrance Test) etc. I personally know about some of the colleges which is belongs to Tamilnadu ie chennai which is good colleges for Aeronautical Engineering like ....1) Hindustan college of Engineering and Technology,Guindy,Chennai
2)SRM colleges of Engineering,Chennai
3) Tagore Engineering Engineering college,Chennai
4) JAYlakshmi Engineering college,Chennai...
you can get the Admission Through common Entrance or else College has conducted their separate entrance Test. The first one is very good college but the fees is little bit high than others but their placement cell is superb and their workshop is more better than other and faculty is also better than others.
And the second option is to get the admission Through professional body.There is a professional Body called"AERONAUTICAL SOCIETY OF INDIA" for getting admission in the society is not a tough job but clearing their paper is a very tough job.society didn't provide any classes you have to prepare by your self or with the help of some preparatory coaching institutions.....society conducted exam all over in India in various centers two times in year. it has 20 papers which is divided in to two section namely section A and Section B. and the maximum time duration is to completion is 6 yrs. the Registration charge is 5000 Rs only.

but my suggestion is ....Better to go with the Regular Engineering colleges.

can adiploma holder get a admission?

i am currently 2nd pu in karnataka.
i want to pursue aeronautical engineering in anna university,madras institution of technology.
so what are the qualifications required and should i write any entrance exams to get admission into these collegs?

One of my friend has completed his class 10 (ICSE). Thereafter, he has completed a three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Advance Technical Training Center in Sikkim. He now wants to join the Degree Honours in Aeronautics. Is his qualifications eligible for the said course?

I suggested computer B-coz my bio marks were low.
If you are good in bio then you can go on with bio instead of computer science!
How ever my friends in bio group say that bio is too difficult!
If you are verrrrrrry good in bio then you can think of taking bio.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :-

You can apply for aeronautical engineering if you have 50% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together.
If you are a diploma holder in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, then also you can apply for this course.

The duration of this course is 4 years.
