Dear Sir, my son is 12th years of age and studying in 6th standard. I want to admit him in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of Dungrin, next year. So, I would like to know about the requirements for getting admission in this school for 7th standard. Please help me to know about this. Thank you!

JNV ( Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya ) is a central government school and affiliated to CBSE.

The admission in the school is conducted in std VIth and Std IXth.

Entrance test is not conducted for the admission in std VIIth. So, you are not eligible to get admission in std VIIth in the school.

Entrance examination is not conducted for the admission in Std 7th in JNV.

Candidates can only appear for the entrance examination conducted to get admission in std VIth or Std IXth.

The admission in std XIth is on the merit basis.

So, you are not eligible to get admission in std VIIth in the JNV.
