Sir,My rank in aieee is 19361 . Can I GET ADMISSION IN THAPAR AND PEC . I fall in general out of Punjab category. Please guide.

hi tavishi.
with 19361 rank, you will be able to get electronics & communication or mechanical engineering at thapar university by the end of third counselling.
and you will get only metallurgy in pec. i considered you as out of punjab category candidate while answering you.

I am extremely sorry to say that you cant get any of Punjab Engineering College or Thapar Institute.
For admissions to Punjab Engineering College you need to secure AIEEE AIR within 7000.
And For Thapar Institute You need atleast 15000 AIEEE AIR.
Also the vacancy in these colleges have seldom chances.Thus cant think to wait for vacacy.
So in both these cases you cant get into these colleges.

I have dropped year after 12th and joined coaching classes for preparation of entrance exams for good engineering collage . But today ( end of August) I am getting paid seat in PEC. Should I take it or continue with coaching and try for Thapper or BITS Next year.

Thapar University is among top university in India..
After getting 19,361 marks I don't think you get seat in this university..
You can take admissions in low ranking college in your state..
But if you want you can try next time and score good rank and
after that you can get admissions in top college.

sir i am getting all india rank between 25000 to 28000. can i get admission in thapar. i belong to general living in punjab. my state rank is 1100 - 1400

sir i have got around 110000 air rank can i get pec if i belong to sc category and my sc category air is around 400

is uiet pu better than thapar
