what are the advantages one gets by getting an m.tech degree after a b.tech in computer science??

More the degree more the chances of getting better job and career progression. After B.Tech you have the option to join a firm at the junior level like a programmer. However after M.Tech the scope is more. You can go in for research, teaching, joining corporates. You will be joining at a grade higher than you would join with B.Tech.

if you having B.Tech you can get job from any software companies.. that jobs are not peacefull to your life, if you have M.Tech you can get job from any coleges or aany other higher level job. this is especilly for computer science..

If you go for M.Tech after B.Tech then you have a better chance of being an lecture and hence a professor.You can also do some research work if pursue M.Tech.

B.tech is the graduate degree an m.tech is post graduate degree so there is many advantages of getting degree after b.tech:
M.tech is like a research course.
after m.tech degree the scope of job is very wide.
computer science is related to software so in this the M.tech degree has provide you to different from the B.tech student.

As i know if you get the M.Tech degree after the B.Tech then it is have more advantages means you have to much job opportunities and can get batter posts and can earn more money than with your B.Tech degree only.

These days master degrees matters a lot, after getting B.Tech degree you hardly get a executive jobs but if you have master degree then you get high profile jobs.
After M.Tech you can do PHd with specified subject or you can research as you wish. That is you can be the scientist and make new development in the field of computers and IT.
So it will be better to have a master degree as M.Tech. Yoy can apply for lecturer job in any university/college.
So this more advantageous than having a simple B.Tech degree.

This is like getting a promotion with 300% increase.
Doing MTech after BTech will make you more confident and skilled in your field and more scope and package you will get.
Also you will easily get a good role in the project and will be at the managerial post quickly.

Dear friend. Yes it have advantage over b.tech.you have higher salary compare to b.tech teaching professional jobs and higher study in research departments.it is pleasure if you can do it.

Advantage is that getting M.Tech you can get a research or teaching or SRF jobs with a good package.Sometimes its also valuable to get promotion and project according to qualification.

Nowadays there is really best future options for those who done M.Tech after B.Tech in computer science not only in india even in world. But for that better future options you must be skilled means you must have command over languages atleast on C, C++, java core and java adv. and databases as sql and oracle etc. So do your best to get best.

job after b.tech is like a low-level job, but coming to m.tech u will be in high level like branch head etc...

There is no advantage in doing Mtech. MNC's treat BE and Mtech graduates in a same manner.

But 2 years experience will do a lot in your career eg. salary, position in the MNC's etc

So its a better option to start your career than doing Mtech

By doing M.tech you get high salary...but by doing B.tech after the 2 or 3 years we get same salary or position as that of recently place M.tech student...right???if so...then is it beneficial????

That is a big advantage of m.tech after b.tech. in this case you have two degrees and many other certificate, which impress the interviewers in the company when you go for job. M.tech is a master degree.

after b.tech obviously you will get job but the package is low in comparison to the doing job after m.tech.

after m.tech you will be the master in your subject that is a good thing.

I have completed my btech this year and got a job of 7L, but i m confused whether to continue with job or go for an Mtech or MS next year

I have completed my M.sc(computer science) in 2004, now I am working in software industry having exprience in IT is 6 years and overall experience is 13.2 years. Now I would like to do m.tech (cse ) . Can anybody suggest whether this can help to our career growth or not. Any examples please.waiting for experts guidance.

Studying M.Tech in Non reputed Colleges in AndhraPradesh effect carrer??

I never suggest candidates to opt for M.Tech candidates soon after the completion of their B.Tech course.

Instead I prefer them to go for the job opportunities in several IT companies.

The reason being, they are being given good salaries on the basis of B.Tech itself, then what is the need of doing Post Graduation in M.Tech course.

Microsoft is offering a salary of 16 lakhs per anum and many of the MNCs are offering salaries within a range of 3-10 laksh.

If this much salaries are being paid, why to wast 2 years of academic life.

Even after completion of M.Tech salaries, you might be given the same kind of salaries. However some companies will offer slight better packages.

But from your side,
-You should have strong preparation for the Entrance Exam.
-You should get good score in the Entrance Exam.
-You should be placed in top college or IIT for M.Tech course
-You should get good subject knowledge in M.Tech course as well

to get top job opportunities in IT companies by cracking the following selection procedure
Written Exam
Group Discussion
Technical Interview
HR Interview

But if you get good job, you can do M.Tech course in distance mode also.
