For AFCAT exam would the marks of Honors subject be considered or will it be for both Honors and General Subject?


For afcat exam Would the marks of honours subjects be considered or both the honours & general subjects

For the AFCAT examination your overall marks would be considered. This examination is conducted by the Indian Air for twice in a year. This exam is conducted for the selection of candidate in various branches of Indian Air Force like FLYING BRANCH, GROUND DUTY BRANCH and TECHNICAL BRANCH.
To apply for this examination a candidate need the following eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

Education Qualification
For the AFCAT examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.
For the Technical Branch only the engineering students or the students holding the equivalent qualification are eligible.
For the AFCAT examination candidate should not have less then 60% marks in his graduation and not have any current back log at the time of SSB interview.

Age Limit
The age limit required for the different branches is given below:

Flying Branch
19-23 years

Ground Duty Branch
20-23 years

Technical Branch
18-28 years
