Re: After B.Com what to pursue M.Com or CA? Which has more scope?
Income tax officer is a government job and Chartered Accountant has more scope in private sector. If you are a person who likes to take challenges in life then you can choose Chartered Accountancy course. It will offer you handsome salary and better career growth.
Bachelor of commerce candidates with 55% marks or more can directly apply Integrated Professional Competence course. It is second stage of CA course. CA course has more scope as compared to Master of Commerce. |

Some of the professional courses after Bachelor's degree in commerce:
Chartered Accountancy. ICWA course. Company Secretary course. Master of Business Administration. Chartered Accountancy is better course than Master of Commerce. In any case government job has an upper edge in our Indian society. |

If you follow the trend of majority of candidates then you should go for Chartered Accountancy course. The selection of career after bachelor's degree should be done on candidate's own interest. There are many entrance exams for which candidates can apply after in order to government job.
Income Tax officer is government job. It is far better than Chartered Accountant job. |

** CA stands for Chartered Accountant.
** As per my knowledge you can go for Chartered Accountant course after completing B.Com course. Salary after Chartered Accountant. 1. Starting Salary = Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 2. After some experience = Rs.1,00,000 per month. |

CA is better option.
CA or Chartered accountancy course can be pursued by a student who has just passed class 12th. After passing class 12th , a student has to take admission in the CPT of CA course. CPT exams are held twice each year. CPT exams are held for 200 Marks and there are two sessions: Session One : Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting--- 60 Marks Section B: Mercantile Laws--- 40 Marks Session Two: Section C: General Economics ---50 Marks Section D: Quantitative Aptitude-- 50 Marks After you pass CPT stage you take admission in IPCC.Graduates/Post Graduates of commerce with minimum 55% marks can directly take admission in IPCC stage and other graduates with 60% marks can take admission in IPCC stage After passing IPCC , you have to do 3 years Articleship under a practising CA After articleship, you give CA Final exam |
