Re: Major difference between a regular degree and a correspondence degree?
Hello Friend,
There are many colleges offering regular degree course as well as in correspondence. Some are recognized and some are not. If you do the degree course from a recognized board or university then the value is similar for both the exams. Actually the correspondence course was introduced for the benefit of students who were unable to attend regular classes due to certain unavoidable circumstances. So you see that the main difference is that in regular classes a student gets to learn from distinguished professionals in the class room whereas in correspondence a student prepares himself with some assistance from tutors. Regarding its acceptance and value both holds equal relevance provided the degree is obtained from recognized universities or boards. Regards |

Re: Major difference between a regular degree and a correspondence degree?
Difference between regular and Correspondence course are as below:
In the Regular college you have to go to the college daily and attend the lectures. There is rule of minimum number of classes that each candidates has to attend whereas in the correspondence course very few weekend classes are held and even attendance is not mandatory In the regular class there is a teacher student interaction and also between the students in the class whereas in the correspondence course you have to do self study Regular course has more value in comparison to correspondence course. Correspondence course is good when you are already doing agood job |

Re: Major difference between a regular degree and a correspondence degree?
Hi,
I was thinking of joining Non-Collegiate Women%u2019s Education Board for B.Com. However, I am not very sure about the validity and value of the degree. Will I be eligible for post graduation and normal jobs based on the degree awarded by Non-Collegiate Women%u2019s Education Board ? Please also let me know if it is counted as a part time degree or regular degree? Is there any setback from doing this course since I will not be affiliated with any college specificaly? |
