you have done diploma with information technology.
you didn't mention about your marks . you can apply for any private college .
all the private college take addmission as lateral entry. directly in 2nd year.

yes you can getting admission in good pvt university under section ugc recognised university. but your diploma percentage is valid about 60% only. more details www.lpu.in.

Apart from that the Kerala state conducts separate exam for lateral entry. Almost all the colleges in kerala has the provision of lateral entry.

Yes you can go for BTech after your diploma. For that you will need to answer an entrance exam but there are some colleges who take admission through you final year percentage.

Anyways try to make you basics strong of your IT course and also some maths basic and fill up few entrance tests like KCET,Thapar,Manipal,IPUCET etc

Yes you may go for B.Tech from any private institution. They offers lateral entry admission in 2nd year after diploma. So you have to clear your basics before appearing for the test.

there are many private colleges in which you can apply such as lovely professional university, sharda university, JNTU, or if you want to do btech with correspondence then you can try in IGNOU, sikkim manipal university

I dont know why do want to do BTech privately , I am quite sure that in your neighbourhood you will have so many colleges offering btech 2nd year to all diploma holders. Private btech is a total wastage of money and time. And one more thing if you want to do private btech then also contact your nearest region university, because there is no rank provision is considered in private btech i.e. a particular college's private btech degree has a higher placement opportunities, this case doesnt exist at all.

dear frnd,it is very interesting that u are going to do higher higher study.there are lot of exams through you can do b.tech.as for example bptu,wbut,tnb conduct exams to select diploma student as lateral entry student.

It is really good to know that you have done Diploma and you have not wasted any time after 12th and this is also a good decision that you want to to B.Tech.....

You can take admission in certain institution after appering for the entrance exam such as the AIEEE ,WB-JELET and like this............

After cracking the exam you will be called for attending the counselling then you can take admission as the lateral entry students...here you will get the direct admission in 2nd year ....

So try for cracking the entrance exam then you can surely do the B.Tech...

(general lateral aptitude test examination).you should think that private college

is not good.now a days lots of private colleges are there which have good

But for taking admission in any college you have to appear in entrance exam like WBJELET,AIEEE & other state exams conducted for diploma students.

You can approach different colleges in India to join courses in BE or B.Tech after a diploma. Students have an option to join BE or B.tech through a lateral entry scheme. Different government or private college can be approached to obtain a seat. Students are taken in directly to the 2nd year in this lateral entry system. This is a basic rule set by the government. Fixed numbers of seats are allotted for lateral entry students.
