Re: After GNM can we do ANM?
No, you cannot join in ANM after GNM because GNM course is done after ANM.
ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery) is a 2 years diploma level course. The eligibility required to study ANM is 10+2 or any equivalent education in Science or arts stream with 40-50% from any recognized board or institute. The percentage may vary based on the state and university. GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) is a 3 years diploma level course. The eligibility required to join in GNW is the candidates age should be 17 - 35 years. There is age relaxation based on government rules. The Educational qualification required is 10+2 or equivalent education in science/ arts stream or ANM with minimum 40-50% from any recognized board or institute. |
