My daughter's date of birth is 05.04.2017, is she eligible for 1st class during the year 2023-2024

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) states that a child must be 6 years or above for admission to 1st class.

There is no official notification by any recognised board with respect to age limit criteria.

It is the Directorate of State Education which decides the age limit criteria for candidates from a particular state.

So, you can visit the concerned office/Officer for the detail information.

Minimum age limit as per CBSE criteria is 5-6 year age.

Age criteria varies from school to school.
Some school strictly permits in 1st class only after minimum age of 6 years.
