What should be age criteria for taking admission in junior kg 2016 for Mumbai state boards? I want to admit my child but a bit confused with this one.

The minimum age required to get admission in Junior KG in 2016 is that the candidate must have attained 4 years of age. Most of the schools offers direct admission in Junior KG to candidates who have completed Nursery whereas some schools conducts an admission entrance test for offering admission in Junior KG. So, if your child has attained the minimum age of 4 years, you can join him in Junior KG in 2016.

Average age criteria:-
Nursery-3 years
L.K.G-4 years
U.K.G-5 years

The cut off age as well as rules/regulations may be different in different schools.

Age Criteria:- 3 & half year for Junior KG

2 & half year for Nursery class child

4 & half year for Senior KG

In Jr.kg my board is Maharashtra board. According to ms board age limit is 4 years. How I can admit my child , need your suggesion .

To get admission in KG class at Mumbai child age should be in between 3 to 5 years.

The school education department, through a government resolution (GR), fixed the minimum age for admission to nursery at three years from the 2015-2016 academic year and six years for Class I by 2018-2019.
Several schools currently admit students in nursery at the age of 2.5 years and in Class I at five. So far, there has been no directive from the education department on what will happen to admissions conducted before the GR was issued.
The new rule, therefore, has parents worried.

My daughter date of birth is 29 Sept 2012, already my daughter was in cbse board she completed jr kg in 2016-2017 but now I her switch to Maharashtra state board but they are saying she is eligible for jr kg again. So please help me that she is eligible for jr kg or sr kg in state board
