Whether a 16 years old candidate can appear in CLAT 2016?
Hi!I am in 12th standard but my age is just 16 years old. Please tell me whether I am eligible to appear for CLAT 2016 or not?

CLAT is the Common Law Admission Test. Different National Law University of India conducts this exam every year.
If you have passed your 10+2 or appearing for the exam in 2016 at the age of 16 years then you can apply for the CLAT in 2016. Once the notification comes, you can apply at the official website www.clat.ac.in. The minimum percentage of marks for general and OBC candidate is 45% in 10+2 and for OBC candidate is 40%. Upper age limit for general and OBC candidate is 20 years and for SC/ST category is 22 years on 1st of July of year of examination. |

CLAT 2016 Age Criteria:
Yes, you are certainly eligible to appear in CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2016 Examination being a 16 years old candidate. The maximum age allowed in order to appear in CLAT 2016 Examination is 20 years (Considered as on 1st July 2016). Age Criteria: (as on 1st July 2016) * Maximum Age Allowed for SC/ ST/ Persons with Disability - 22 years * Maximum Age Allowed for All Others - 20 years Since your age is with in the limit which is required, I am sure you are certainly eligible to appear in CLAT 2016 Entrance Examination. |

To appear in CLAT 2016 candidate must complete in secondary education i.e. 12th.
You have not complete your 12th standard yet, so, you are not eligible for CLAT 2016. First of all complete your 12th standard. Best of luck for next time. |

To appear for the Common Law Admission Test, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria for this exam:
>>Any 10+2 passed or appearing candidates from a recognized board can apply for the examination. If you 10+2 passed or appearing for the board examinations in 2016 and your age is 16 years then you can appear for the CLAT 2016. >>Percentage of marks required in 10+2 is 45% for general and OBC category and 40 % for SC/ST candidates. >>Upper age limit is 20 years for general candidates and 22 years for OBC candidates. Basic Eligibility for CLAT 2016
- Educational Qualification : A candidate should have completed his/her higher secondary examination with 45% minimum from recognized board. 40% in case of SC/ST candidates. - Age Limit : A candidate age should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July 2016. 22 years in case of SC/ST candidates. So, yes you can apply for CLAT exam if you have cleared your 10+2 examination being a 16 years old. |

Yes.You are eligible to apply for CLAT 2016.CLAT is the Common Law Admission Test to get admission in Law colleges.
Eligibility - One must have passed graduation in any discipline from recognized university. - Your age must be below 20 years on 1st July of the examination year.Candidates belonging to SC/ST must be below 22 years.
