Sir, i want to applied for ssc cpo si but completed 28years on 24 apr 2014 and belongs to OBC,wheather iam eligible for this year or not?

Age Criteria of SSC CPO 2015:

No, you are not eligible to appear for SSC CPO 2015 Examination. CPO 2015 (Central Police Organizations) Examination is conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year. As far as your date is concerned, you are not eligible to appear for SSC CPO 2015 exam this year.

The Crucial date for age limit is reckoned with reference to 01-01-2015, given here based on previous notification records. You have completed 28 years of age as on 24th April, 2014. So You can not appear for this exam at any means.

Minimum age: 20 years
Maximum age: 25 years
Age Relaxation for OBC Candidates: 3 years
Your maximum age can be 28 years considering age relaxation for OBC candidates, but you have already crossed the age required. And hence you are not eligible to appear for SSC CPO 2015 Examination.

Its so sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for the exam of SSC CPO because the age you are is already over so you can not apply and as you belong to the OBC category so you also have crossed the age limit with relaxation so you are not eligible.

But not to be discourage life never ends after a way is closed in your life you can apply for the SSc CGL exam which having the same exam pattern the only difference in Mains exam which is conducted in two subjects that of English and Math and also having jobs better than the CPO. if you appoint here you can be appoint minimum for the post of Inspector where in CPO you could get the S.I.

Eligibility criteria for CPO is as per SSC-

Candidate should be indian

Candidate should be physically fit.

Should be having eye sight of 4/4

Should be age fall in age llimit upto 20-25 years

Age relaxation for the OBC is 3 years and for the SC/ST is 5 years.

CPO Examination is conducted by SSC(Staff Selection Commission) in every year.

The maximum age limit for taking SSC CPO(Central Police Orgnisations) exam is 25 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.

For apply SSC CPO exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

SSC CPO ( Central Police Organisations Constable ) age limit :

Age of candidate must be from 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2015. Candidate must not born earlier than 2nd of August, 1992 and not later than 1st of August, 1997.

Age relaxation is provided to some reserved category candidate. Age relaxation is provided as follows :

• SC / ST : 5 years
• OBC : 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen ( Unreserved / General ) : 03 years
• Ex-Servicemen ( OBC ) : 06 years
• Ex-Servicemen ( SC / ST ) : 08 years
• Victims of 1984 and 2002 riots : 5 years
• Candidates with J and K domicile : 5 years

Candidate have to submit Matriculation certificate as Date of Birth proof.
