Sub inspector, Assistant Sub inspector, intelligence officer – SSC
The staff selection commission earlier known as subordinate services commission was initially laid down for conducting common entrance examinations for filling in posts at lower categories. The staff selection commission generally makes recruitment to group c group b non gazette posts in government departments/ministry to all attached and subordinate offices of government of India.
The staff selection commission is holding an all India entrance exam for filling the vacant post of sub inspectors in central police organization (CPO) also the post of assistant sub inspectors in CISF and intelligence officer in narcotics control bureau.
Name of the posts and various information regarding the posts are given below:
i) Sub inspector in CPO’s: A total of 1104 posts are available under this category with a pay scale of around rs. 9300 to 34800 along with a grade pay of rs. 4200. The age limit of the applying candidate should be between 20 and 25 as on 24th June, 2011.
ii) Assistant sub inspector in CISF: A total of 678 posts are available under this post. With a division of 610 seats for male candidates and 68 posts for female. This post provides a pay of rs. 5200 – 20200 with a grade pay of rs. 2800. Under this post also an age limit that has been imposed. According to the age limitations the candidate should be aged between 20 and 25 as on 24th June, 2011.
iii) Intelligence officer in narcotics control bureau (NCB): A total of 100 posts are available under this category for which the interested candidates can apply. It provides a pay scale of rs. 9300 – 34800. The age limits have to be kept in mind while applying for this post too. The applying candidates’ age should be between 20 to 27 years as on 24th June, 2011.
Qualification: The applying candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university or should have a studied an equivalent course.
How to apply: The application form should be downloaded from the website and the duly filled form should be sent to our main office. The correctly filled application form should reach us before 24th June, 2011. The candidates should reach the exam on time with all needed certificates and documents. No late comers would be entertained.
Date of examination: The commission has decided to conduct the exam on 28th august, 2011. Any change in the dates would be reported on our website.
