Information Regarding NDA Examination.

National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is conducted by the UPSC in every year for the admission in the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Air Force wings of NDA. This exam is conducted twice in every year. Once in the month of April and another in the month of August. To appear in the NDA examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Pass 12th class from a recognize board/University. The 12th board exam appearing student are also eligible to apply for the NDA examination.

Age Limit = The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of appearing of this examination.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:

Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

As you have interest to appear in this exam, then you can go for it..
But you have to fulfill some criteria, to appear in NDA exam..

For Navy:-

As per the eligibility criteria for NDA Exam.
For Army wing,you must have completed 10+2.
In order to join Navy and Air Force wings,
You must have gone through Physics and Mathematics as the subjects at 10+2.

One should be in the age between 16 1/2 years to 19 years are eligible.

As your date of birth is on 21-09-1993,
your age is 18 years by 2011 and by 2012 you are going to complete 19 years.

you can appear for upcoming NDA Exam.

The minimum qualification to appear in NDA-
¤For Army wing: High school qualification with minimum qualifying marks, or equivalent, from affiliated institute.
¤Age limit: 16.5-19 yr.
*For Naval & Air Force- High school with PCM, or equivalent, from affiliated institute.

~Height: 157.5 cm.
~Weight should be proportionate with height.
~Chest: According to Physical test norms, should be +5 cm more (On expansion) than normal.
NDA (National Defence Academy), exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year i.e. In the month of 'April & August' and forms are available in the month of 'January & April' Respectively.
-Generally in exam, questions are asked from following fields frequently-
>General English.
>Basic Mathematics.
>General Knowledge.
There are two Phases of exam i.e. Written & Personal Interview.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year..
Age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 Year..

N.D.A(1), 2012 last date of submission of form is over..
You I am sorry to say that you can't appear in April 2012..

If you want you can apply in N.D.A(II), 2012

Important date for N.D.A(II), 2012
Date of Notification:-05.05.2012
Last date of receipt of form:- 04.06.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:-19.08.2012 (SUNDAY)

Important Dates of GPSC 2012 :

For you kind info, the notifications of GPSC 2012 are not released.

But I will provide you the details regarding the tentative dates of GPSC .

Release of Application Form will be in the month of August 2012.
Prelim Exam will be in Oct - Nov 2012.

Eligibility Criteria for GPSC 2012 :

Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline from reconised university.
Age : Minimum 21 years Maximum 28 years.


Exam Pattern :

Step 1 : Prliminary exam.

Here the questions will be of the Multiple choice questions .

General studies [ 150 marks ]
One Optional subject [200 marks]

Total = 350 marks.

Approximately U have to score 300 marks out of 350 marks as to qualify in prelim.

Step 2 : Mains Examination.

This exam will be of descriptive in nature .

Subjects in the Examination :

Gujarati.
English.
General studies.
Optional 1
Optional 2

Each of 200 marks.

Step 3 : Personality test.

Interview of 100 marks.

So total GPSC is for 1100 Marks.

Final Merit list will be prepared from 1100 Marks.

AGE LIMIT FOR NDA Exam: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence.

After 12th you can apply for NDA exam.
