what is age limit for NDA exam...Could u please tell me the details

One can apply if their age is less than 19 years. Also they must be atleast 16 ½ years old to apply. NDA is conducted by UPSC. Only unmarried males are eligible. Detailed information can be collected from UPSC portal.

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.

This exam is conduct twice time in a year by upsc as NDA I and NDA II Exam .

The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard .If your 12th subject is mathematics and Physics then you are applicable for all above wings.NDA exam not require any percentage marks of the candidate.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

Physical Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam:-





NDA I exam date is over for 2013 , But you can apply in NDA II Exam.

The exam notification for NDA II exam is given below-

Date of notification: 04th May, 2013
Last date for receipt of applications: 03rd June, 2013, Monday.
Date of commencement of exam: 11th August, 2013, Sunday.

From this year NDA application form must be submitted by only online system. The fees for NDA exam is 50/- . .

The Acronym "NDA" Stands for National Defense Academy Exam.

The NDA Exam is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission under the names of NDA-I & NDA-II.

NDA-I Exam is conducted in the month of April whereas NDA-II Exam is conducted in the month of August every year.

The minimum educational qualification required for NDA Exam is set to 12th standard by the UPSC. Also , there is no minimum % of marks required in 12th so you just need to have a pass in 12th from any recognized board.

The Age Limit For NDA Exam is 165-19 years. There is no relaxation given to candidates whether they belong to any category in the upper age.

Only male candidates who have Indian Citizenship and are unmarried are eligible to appear in the NDA Examination.

Girl candidates are not allowed to apply for the NDA Examination.

The NDA Examination gives chance to the candidates too join any of the following wings :

* Indian Army

* Indian Navy

* Indian Air Force

The NDA Examination is conducted in three phases namely :

a) Written Exam

b) SSB Interview

c) Medical Test
