what is the age limit for ASSAM CIVIL SERVICE for obc candidates?......

Age limit for Assam Civil Service exams conducted by UPSC states that a candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and should be less than 30 years at the time of examination. The upper age limit is relaxed for reserved candidates. Relaxation upto a maximum of 5 years for candidates belonging to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe and relaxation upto a maximum of 3 years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail reservation. So the age limit for Assam Civil Service exam for OBC candidate is minimum 21 years and maximum 33 years.

The eligibility criteria required for Assam Civil Service are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognised college or university.

* Age limit- 21-30 yrs.

* Age relaxation- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors.

* Nationality- Indian.
