As per your date of birth, you are eligible for AIPMT exam 2016.

Candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible for AIPMT exam but your 12th standard subject are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your age should be in between 17 to 26 years.

AIPMT stands for All India Pre Medical Test.

The AIPMT is a national level entrance examination conducted by CBSE every year for MBBS/BDS seats for 15% All India Quota Seats.

The tentative date of AIPMT 2016 is scheduled on May 2016.

Required eligibility conditions for AIPMT are:

* Must be Indian citizen.
* Must have attained the age of 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
* Candidate of General category must not have crossed the age of 25 years as on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
* Candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC category must not have crossed the age of 30 years as on or before 31st December of the year of admission.


Tips for the better preparation of AIPMT are mentioned below"

* There is must be balance in the AIPMT preparation as well as academic studies (!2th standard) by making a time table for studies.
* There must be equal attention and focus on subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
* NCERT books along with other reference books must be thoroughly studied.
* Must make special study for consolidation of basic concepts.
* After completing of any topics/chapter, the Multiple Choice Questions concerning to that topics/chapters must be practiced repeatedly.
* Solve out old and model question papers more and more.

Now you are studying in 11th std.So , You are not eligible for AIPMT.AIPMT(All India Pre- Medical Test) is conducted by CBSE for admission in BDS/MBBS.

Age limit
Your age should be between 17 to 25 years on 31st December of the Examination Year.5 Year relaxation applicable for OBC/ST/SC.

Qualification
You must have qualification of (10+2) with PCB as a main subject with 50% aggregate for general category & 40% for SC/ST/OBC.

Let us discuss the eligibility for the AIPMT exam. then your doubt of age will also be covered and then you will also have to clear picture of what all is required in a candidate to appear for the exam.

1) Age should be 17 years as on 1st December of that paper.
2) Nationality should be Indian
3) * Students from the States of Andhra Pradesh, J & K and Telangana are NOT ELIGIBLE for 15% all India quota seats as both these States had opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. If they claim eligibility, they must upload Self Declaration , as per proforma given in Appendix - II, on a Plain Paper to the effect that:-

i) They are not eligible to seek admission for MBBS/BDS seats in Medical/ Dental Colleges in the States of Andhra Pradesh, J & K and Telangana

ii) They are not domiciled in Andhra Pradesh, J & K and Telangana. *

4) Age relaxation to 25 years is also given to candidates belonging to the OB/ST/Sc casts.

The candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year of Admission.
The upper age limit is 25 years (5 years relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates) as on or before 31st December of the year of Admission.
The candidates belong to J&K, AP and Telangana are eligible to appear the exam only for the admission to the AFMC, Pune on the basis of self declaration.
