AFCAT - Air Force Common Admission Test conducted by Air Force every year for selection of officer in Flying Branch, Technical Branch, Ground Duty Branch under Indian Air Force. AFCAT exams are conducted for:
>> Flying Branch >> Technical Branch >> UES Or University Entry scheme >> Ground Duty Branch Eligibilty criteria to apply for these are: Flying Branch: Graduates with minimum 60% marks and should ahve studied Physics and Maths as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH Age should be between 19 to 23 years Technical Branch: BE/BTECH pass with minimum 60% marks Age should be between 18 to 28 years If you are in the 3rd Year of the than you can apply for the UES. Minimum eligibilty is Prefinal year of the BE/BTECH. Candidates should ahve scored minimum 60% marks till 3rd year Age of the candidate should be between 18 to 28 years |

The Educational Eligibility Criteria To Appear For The Test is
Educational qualification :- You should have a valid Graduation degree of 3 years/4 years with marks 6.5 CGPA or above from recognized university approved by UGC/AICTCE. ELIGIBILITY FOR AFCAT EXAM;- Academic qualification : This is different for different branches. 1)Ground duty branches : -One should have an age between 20-27 years of age -One should have the PG or Bachelors degree in any subject with at least aggregate of 60% of marks 2)Flying branch -The applicant need to have a minimum age of 19 years and a maximum of 23 years. -The candidate must have a B.Tech/B.E. degree or graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 60% of marks aggregate 3)Technical branch -For this one should have an age of 18-28 years. -Candidate must have done Aeronautical engineering with minimum of 60% of marks. Flying Branch details:- The candidate should be complete BE/A.Tech with atleast 60% of marks from a recognised university. Candidate should be an Indian origin. Candidate should be a citizen of india. Ground Duty branch:- The candidate should be pass BE/B.Tech with atleast 60% of marks from a recognised university. Candidate should be an Indian origin. m 20 yrs old, born on 22/10/1992. i will be passing out of BE(electronics)in the year 2015 when i turn 22. will i be eligible for the flying branch. if not is there any way to get into the flying branch!? please help.!
