According to the eligibility criteria of AIEEE you must be a passed 12th student with 35%.

They dont check the PCM percentage instead they consider the aggregate 12th percentage along with English percentage which should be above 50% .

Yes my friend you are eligible for AIEEE exam as they dont check your pcm marks for this purpose.You only have attain a minimum of 50% in 12th as an aggregate to be eligible.

NIIT has not allow to you for admission it has own restriction but you may apply for other Engg college also..
To take admission in NIIT minimum 60% req.

the eligibility criterion for AIEEE examination is candidate should have minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 12th to appear in AIEEE examination for general category candidate. the minimum marks criterion for SC/ST/OBC/PH is 40%.

they don't consider the marks for only Physics, chemistry and mathematics. they consider aggregate marks. so if you have minimum 50% marks in aggregate then you will be eligible for AIEEE.

after appearing in AIEEE examination if you are able to secure a good rank and through counseling if you get chance to take admission in NIT then surely you can take admission in any NIT according to your AIEEE rank. you have to first fulfill the eligibility criterion for AIEEE examination after that cracking AIEEE examination you will be able to take admission in NIT through counseling.

*General category student- Atleast 50% aggregate in class 12th with science stream and maths cumpulsory. There is no meaning of only PCM marks.

*SC/ST/OBC/PH- Atleast 40% Aggrregate with science stream and maths cumpulsory.


Don't worry just check your aggregate percentage .If you are eligible then site in AIEEE exam .If you can secure good rank in that exam ,you will easily get admission .There will be no any problem regarding low marks in class 10th and 12th.These are just useless facts.

One must pass out 12th class with minimum percentage of 51% and you must not passed 12th class in 2008 or before which makes a candidate not eligible to appear in AIEEE 2011.

The above is for 2011 year AIEEE SO for age your can decrease one year for the next year and so on...

i am extremely sorry to inform you that academic qualification required for appearing in all india engineering entrance exam is the candidate should have passed 10+2 or it's equivalent with minimum of 50% marks for general category and 40% for the sc/st candidates.
also the no. of chances to apply for this exam is limited to 3 which a candidate can take in 3 consecutive attempts only.
so it's not like that everything has finished for you just try any other state entrance exams and get qualified for that which is also providing you the bachelor degree in engineering.

Generally speaking for admission eligibility through AIEEE is XII pass.
But there are restrictions by certain institutes which require different minimum pecentage of marks or some gender restriction too. e.g.

JK inst. Allahabad-60%
Mizoram Univ-50%
Tezpur- 50% etc

you are eligible to seat for AIEEE exam as you have PCM in class 12.
You have to prepare well to get good marks in AIEEE exam then after you will be able to get good colleges under AIEEE like NITs.

you need not worry about the 49 % in +2. just check your aggregate % , if it is above 50 you can sit for AIEEE. get a good score in it and you ca surely sit for NIT. but keep in mind 1 thing you need to have a good score in AIEEE else there no chance...

If you belongs to anx reserved category than you are eligible for aieee with 49% in 10 2. But if you are not from anx reserved class than you are not eligible because 50% in 10 2 is needed for unreserved category.
