KSET stands for Karnataka State Eligibility Test. The academic qualification required for this examination is master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. General candidates need to have minimum of 55% marks in master's degree to apply for KSET examination.

The percentage of marks required for reserved category is 50%. There is no upper age limit for lectureship. You can apply for KSET exam after pursuing MBA through distance education if you have 55% marks in master's degree.
