I'm pursuing Mcom from MDU(distance learning)
is distance learning is eligible for NET(UGC)?
as somebody told me that for net ,you have to have full time education(masters)

Maharshi Dayananda University is recognized by University Grant Commission and the course offered by the university, either through regular classes or through distance mode, are approved for any entrance examination conducted on central level.
As you have pursued your Master of Commerce from Maharshi Dayananda University, you can definitely take the National Eligibility Test for Lectureship, conducted by University Grant Commission, provided you have qualified M.Com with 55% marks if you belong to general category and 50% if you belong to Sc/St category.

I have completed my M.A through distance education in 2012. I cleared ugc net june-2013. UGC has no problem.But i am facing so many obstacle till now to get P.hd or a job due to orthodox attitude regarding distance education. Seniors do not want to understand my dedication for knowledge.

If we will complete our m.a in economics correspondence then if we will clear our ugc net then will we get job in college as a lecturer. Or correspondence m.a create problem for us.plzz reply

Sir, I want to ask about the validity of a PG Course in English from Maduai Kamaraj university through distance mode from study centre in Chandigarh.I was registered in the university 8 may 2013 (before June 2013 when DEB /UGC published a letter regarding not opening a study centre outside state territorial jurisdiction).I want to know whether my course PG English is valid in Haryana or Any part of India
