Respected Sir, I have completed my class 12th (Commerce) but I did not have Maths as subject so I want to know am I eligible to appear for NDA exam without having Maths as subject in class 12th (Commerce)? What is the qualification criteria and age required to apply for NDA exam? Please answer as soon as possible.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy and to join the same you will have to qualify NDA entrance examination held by UPSC twice every year.

Being a Class 12th passed candidate with Commerce stream ( without Mathematics ) you are eligible for appearing in NDA entrance examination but only to join Indian Army as for other two wings i.e; Indian Navy and Indian Air force only students having completed their Class 12th with PCM group are eligible.

--> Apart from the educational requirement you must satisfy the criteria mentioned here under :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

* You must satisfy the physical fitness norm as per the service requirement mentioned in the notification released for the same examination.

National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is a national level exam which is conducted every year by UPSC for admission in Army, Navy and Air Force Wings. You have completed your 12th standard and do not have Math subject in class 12th. You want to know about the eligibility criteria for NDA exam.

Yes, you are eligible for NDA exam but you should apply for Indian Army post.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board are eligible for NDA exam in all posts.

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19.5 years.
