In order to register for the Executive Program of Company Secretary course, one should have completed Bachelors Degree program in any discipline. However, if you have not yet attempted for the Final Year examination of your bachelors degree program, you can certainly register for the Executive Program on provisional basis. In such case, Proof of passing the said examination is required to be furnished within six months from the date of registration.

The last date to register for the Executive Program in order to write the June term end examination to be held in the year 2013 is 31-08-2012. If you fail to register on or before the prescribed date, you will not be considered eligible to write the Executive Examination in June 2013.

For further information and in order to register yourself, contact your nearest ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) Regional Council or any of its Chapters.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for CS executive programme after passing B.Com final year, as minimum qualification required is Graduation.

The exam for CS entrance is conducted twice a year , in June and December.

The course is divided into three stages -

1. Foundation
2. Intermediate
3. Final

Duration Of the course-

Foundation Course - Six months
Intermediate course - Twelve months
Final Course - Twelve months

I did B.Sc pure science and then completed M.Sc in Media Science. Then onwards I have been working for an advertising company as Sr.Ex-Client Servicing during last 3.3 years.
But I am not enjoying my job. I am keenly interested to do CS program.
I have future plan to start my own business in Advertising & Retail.
Kindly advise me what should do? I am 26 years old.

YES you can take admission in the CS executive Course

Since you have already passed Graduation you get exemption from studying the Foundation course

If you want to give the CS Executive Term end exams in June 2014 than you should take admission by 31st August 2013

Fees for CS executive is:
Executive course: Rs 10000
For B.COM graduates:Rs9000
Exam fees :Rs 2400


Subjects that you have to study during the CS Executive Level are:

Yes you are eligible to apply for for CS executive as the eligibility criteria of CS executive says all graduate from any stream except Fine arts are eligible for the exam of CS executive.

I have just given my T.Y.BAF exams and waiting for the results and I wish to apply for CS executive course through direct entry ,I'am having some doubts that needs clarification ASAP as I want to register for Dec 2016 exams for one module,and the last date of registration for which is 31st may.

The doubts are regarding:-
1)As I am not sure about my results,what if I have registered and then got a KT in my final year exams? Will my registration be cancelled because of not submitting my result as I have failed?
2) I have read somewhere that there is some kind of computer training required to be done after clearing the executive course for becoming eligible for the professional or the final course of CS? Is it necessary?
Kindly reply as soon as possible as I have to register as mentioned above.
