Hello sir! I am 31 year old .I have completed engineering in Mechanical Engineering.I did not undergo GME course or GP rating.I am holding Belize CDC and COC aslo 18 month sea experience as TME.
My question is Am I able to apply for Indian CDC ?How can I get?

I have completed mechanical diploma and now i have panama cdc and i want to get indian cdc how to apply for it

“C.D.C” means a Continuous Discharge Certificate-cum-Seafarer’s Identity Document.

CDC means "Combined Defence Services".This exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year.This exam is basically taken in the month of February and August.There are three post for which you can apply through this exam.These are for :-

• Indian Navy.
• Indian Air-Force.
• Indian Army.

Only those candidates who are Indian/Who belongs from the Indian Region will be able to apply for this exam.Only Unmarried Male candidates are only eligible to apply for this exam.This exam is taken on the basis of Graduation Level.

Academic qualification required :-
~You should have a bachelor degree in science stream with honors in Physics/Mathematics/Engineering degree of 4 years from recognized university.



Age required :-
~Minimum age should be 18 years.
~Maximum age allowed is 24 years.

Exam pattern :-
~Total duration of this exam will be 2 hours.
~It will include 2 sets.
~Each set will be of 100 marks.


Details of Exam syllabus :-

PAPER I

• English Grammar.
• Passage and Comprehension.

PAPER II

• Science.
• General Knowledge.
• Elementary Mathematics.
• Geography.
• History.

As you meet the academic qualification eligibility but you do not meet the age criteria thus you will not be able to apply for this exam.
