It is not compulsory to have intermediate qualification.

Candidates pursuing in the final year of bachelor degree or passed after completion of diploma/ITI or other equivalent course to intermediate are eligible to appear in Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC.

There are many other examination conducted by UPSC. So, for detail information about any specific examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Intermediate course is not compulsory for UPSC exam. But candidate need to complete graduation from any recognised university. That is only required. You can not join intermediate but you are equivalent to the 12th standard.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
