What is the cut-off in Intermediate to be eligible to apply for EAMCET examination?
What is the minimum marks in Intermediate required to get for ST student in order to appear in EAMCET examination (any stream either engineering or medical)? Is there any reservation or relaxation for Schedule Tribe candidates?

Re: What is the cut-off in Intermediate to be eligible to apply for EAMCET examination?
The minimum marks required in Class 12th to appear in EAMCET is 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics all taken together for engineering admissions while the same for medical admissions is 50% marks from a recognized board of education. Also, in case of SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks required in Class 12th is relaxed to 40% as per the norms.
Also, I would like to let you know that for admissions in undergraduate medical degree course i.e; MBBS/BDS degree course is not taken through EAMCET rather it is done through NEET. Also, there is provision of 15% seat reservation for ST category candidates through EAMCET. For more detailed information concerning to EAMCET admissions, you can refer to the link www.sche.ap.gov.in. |

Re: What is the cut-off in Intermediate to be eligible to apply for EAMCET examination?
EAMCET stands for Engineering Agricultural Medical Common Entrance Test. After NEET, admission in medical courses are done on basis of NEET scorecard not on EAMCET scorecard. The minimum academic qualification required to apply for this examination is 12th passed with PCM or PCB subject group.
The percentage of marks required to apply for this exam is 50% marks for general category. It is 45% marks for SC/ST candidates. There is reservation for ST candidates. |

Re: What is the cut-off in Intermediate to be eligible to apply for EAMCET examination?
1. First of all you must know that, there is no admission in medical colleges based on EAMCET scorecard. Admission in medical colleges is solely based on rank in NEET examination.
2. For engineering colleges and courses, you need to have minimum of 50% marks in 12th board exam. You must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In case of Agriculture courses, PCM/PCB subject candidates are also eligible. |
