Hello,

Typically, a B.Sc. is for three years, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate(10+2) in science.

Forestry is the science and art of managing tree plantations, forests and related resources. Subjects studied under this degree are Wood Science and Technology, Agroforestry, Medicinal & Aromatic Plants, Forest Genetic Resources and Forest Biotechnology.

[ [ Eligibility rule ] ]

For admission in a bachelorís degree program you must pass higher secondary education or 10+2 with biology, chemistry and physics as the main subject and minimum of 55%-60% marks from any Institute/university. The duration of the program is of 3 years.

After your degree, you can work as a biological technician, whereas a post graduate degree holder in botany makes him/her eligible for choosing a career in teaching or to take up research work in any well-known university.

Moreover, you can join any reputed organization as plant explorers, conservationists, ecologists, environment consultants, horticulturist, plant biochemist, nursery manager, genetics, molecular biologist, taxonomist, plant pathologist, environmental consultant and farming consultant.
