hi i am 3rd year computer engineering student. i have scored 87% in 10th, 76% in 12th , and my current cpi is 6.1 i.e 56%.am i eligible for campus interview of tcs?

Cut off marks specified by TCS for campus placements is 60%. This must remain consistent from 10th till graduation. Candidate must be free of backlogs at the time of recruitment. Study gap more than 2 years is not permitted. As you hold 56% marks only, you are not eligible for campus placement in TCS.

If Your through out marks is above 60%maximum and have not any Pending Backlog then you are applicable for TCS recruitment.One another criteria is year gape , you have not more than 2 years gape in through out career.

TCS recruitment process is 1)Written test 2)Technical Test 3)HR .For written test you should prepare well in section of aptitude test and English section.From now written pattern is consist of aptitude 30% and out 70% question are coming from puzzle test .

If you are from any non IT/CS department then you must have knowledge of C language . For technical section you should prepare well any language from C ,JAVA , C++ , DBMS ,DS ,OS section.

You are from 3 rd year student and your B-Tech Marks is 56% up to 3rd year .If TCS is coming at that time , then you are not applicable.But you have a chance to scored good in 7th semester then your percentage will be increased .

Because in maximum engineering college conduct on campus after 7th semester .

Candidate must be score at least 60% in through out career......

Pending Backlog are not allowed....

Maximum 2 year gap are allowed....


TCS test Consists of 3 Sections…

I. Written Test
1. Test on Synonyms and Antonyms
2. Aptitude Test
3. Critical Reasoning
4. Psychometric Test

II. Interview

III. HR round

Eligibilty to apply for the Freshers jobs in TCS is:

>> Minimum 60% marks in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if any), BE/BTECH

>> Compartment and Improvement exams marks are not considered

>> Minimum age to apply is 18 years

>> All the education should ahve been deone through regular mode only

>> NO correspondence and distance education is allowed

>> There should not be GAP in education or Work of more than 24 months

So, you should try to improve your aggregate score of BTECH to more than 60% and than you can apply for TCS
