Am I eligible to give IBPS PO exam? What is the age criteria?


sir'
plz let me know ,the new age criteria for general category. I heard it'll be 20-28 for general from next PO 3 exams.
I am 29 yers old general candidate. AM I not eligibal to give IBPS PO 3 exam .

IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts P.O. exam for 19 Public sector banks.

Eligibility & Age criteria for IBPS P.O. exam:-

-The candidate must be an Indian National
-Should have completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University.
Should be within the age of 20 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-Should be a computer literate one.

At the age of 29 years youare eligible to apply for IBPS P.O. Exam.

Yes you are eligible to sit for the IBPS PO Examination.

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. By giving this examination you can apply to the 20 national public sector banks that participates in this exam whenever there is a vacancy available. The exam IBPS conducts is known as CWE or Common Written Exam.

The validity of the IBPS Score Card is one year.

Eligibility Criteria:-
  • You need to be a citizen of India.
  • You need to be a graduate in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.
  • The minimum age limit is 21 year and maximum age limit is 30 years.
  • There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. It is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for disabled candidates.
  • You need to have the operating and working knowledge of computer systems. This needs to be proved by showing certificates.
  • You need to be proficient in the local language of the State where you are applying.

Exam Pattern:-

The exam comprises of two papers:- Objective Paper and Descriptive Paper. 150 minutes have been allotted for the objective paper and 60 minutes for the descriptive paper. All total there will be 250 questions and total marks allotted is also 250 marks.

Give importance to the following areas:-
  • Reasoning
  • English Language
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Awareness
  • Computer Knowledge
  • Descriptive Paper on English Composition

IBPS exam is conduct for BANK PO Post for 20 private banks .

Only those candidate have completed graduation degree are eligible for IBPS BANK PO exam.There are no percentage criteria for IBPS PO exam.

The candidate age must be in between 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation for reserved candidate is given below-

SC/ST Category - 5 years age relaxation
OBC Category - 3 years age relaxation
PWD Category - 10 years relaxation

IBPS Stands Institute Banking Of Personnel Section

C.W.E Stands Common Written Examination

C.W.E is conducted by the I.B.P.S as pre requisite for selection personal for clerical & Po posts in 19 public sector banks

Eligibility :

Candidates should have Graduation in any stream from a recognized University & final year appearing candidates also eligible for apply

Candidates age not more then 30 years & not less then 21 years , if any reserved (back ward) candidates have age relaxation details as follows

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates

Candidates must be citizen of Indian

Selection Process :

selection process based on following stages

Written Test

Interview

Written Test Syllabus :

First section :

Reasoning with 50questions of 50marks

English language with 50questions of 50marks

Quantitative Aptitude with 50questions of 50marks

Dear friend

IBPS stands for the Institute of Banking and personnel selection .It conducts the common written examination for the different posts like clerk and probationary officer for the 20 nationalised banks .

The eligibility criteria for the IBPS probationary officer post is as follows:

1.Academic requirement:

>>Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university is minimum academic qualification needed for the P.O post.

>>Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

2.Age criteria :

Friend it is still same that is 21-30 years for the general category .SO you have one more year left within which you can apply for the exam .

Relaxations in age are provided to the reserved category candidates.For example 3 years to the obc and five years to the sc/st .

3.You must be citizen of India.

4.The validity of IBPS score card is one year.

5.Examination pattern:



Note: Now it is mandatory for every one to submit a certificate that shows the candidate has basic knowledge of computer and he knows well how to operate computer at the time of application.

Eligibilty for the IBPS PO exams:
Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations


As of now IBPS has not announced any new eligibilty criteria for the PO post
So as of now the last exam eligibilty criteria we know

IBPS PO Exam Eligibility Criteria

Please know that You are Eligible for the IBPS Bank PO Exam 2013-14. The Age Criteria with several other information is provided Below.

► The Candidate should be
