Re: Am I eligible for IBPS CWE after completing 10th with 60.76%
You are eligible for the IBPS Bank PO entrance exam. However you can also appear for the IBPS Bank Clerk but Bank PO is much better option since the salary will be better than Clerk job.
For the IBPS exams only the graduation degree is considered. For Bank PO the marks in graduation are considered while for Clerk exam having graduation degree is sufficient enough. What marks you obtained in 10th, 12th or the diploma course is not an issue. Therefore you should feel free to apply for the Bank PO entrance exam or the Clerk if you want to apply for it. The Bank PO will be the next exam to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services. It is expected that the notification will be issued in August while the examination will be conducted in September. The IBPS Clerk exam will take place towards the end of the year. Here is the eligibility criteria for the IBPS Bank PO. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. Your should have Indian citizenship. 2. Bachelor's degree from any recognized college. 3. Must have at least 60 percent marks in it. 4. A certificate in Computers is also required. 5. You can also apply if studied Computer Science in High School or graduation. 6. The age limit is 20 to 28 years for this exam. 7. OBC are eligible for 3 years relaxation in upper age limit. 8. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. 9. The relaxation is 10 years for Person with Disability. The criteria for IBPS Clerk is almost the same. Only there is no percentage criteria for the exam. Rest of the criteria like graduation degree, age limit, computer certificate is same as for the IBPS Bank PO. |
