Am I eligible for IES after completing diploma in mechanical engineering with 82.1% in Mechanical Stream?
Dear Sir,
I have completed diploma in mech engg with 82.1% with Mech stream... Please let me know related job fields for the same 1. Central Gov organisation (which is applicable for me) 2. No, you are not eligible for IES. Graduation in engineering is necessary for IES. You can apply for a job in SAIL, ONGC, etc. Cochin shipyard Limited has recently invited applications for the position of Asst engineer. You can look for Junior Engineer positions in railways. Clerical/data entry positions are also applicable for you.

If you want to do I.E.S then you have to B.Tech/B.E in any one stream mention below:- • Civil Engineering • Mechanical Engineering • Electrical Engineering • Electronics Engineering Age limit for I.E.S exam is 21-30 year. In my opinion you should do B.Tech after passing Diploma course. So that you can napper in many exam like:- > Indian Engineering Services > Combined Defence Services > Civil Services ALL THE BEST! |
