Re: Am I eligible for KTET exam while doing B.Ed first year?
KTET refers to Kerela Teacher Eligibility Test and same is held for recruitment of teachers in schools managed by concerned state government.
The minimum educational qualification required for appearing in the same examination is a higher secondary school degree with 45% marks along with a teacher training courses such as D.Ed. Students having above qualification are eligible for becoming teacher in lower primary school. Where as to be eligible for becoming teacher in higher primary school or high school you need to have completed your bachelor degree course with 45% marks along with B.Ed degree course from a recognized university. Students pursuing final year of their B.Ed degree course are also eligible. Now as far as you are concerned about your eligibility for appearing in KTET being a first student of B.Ed degree course then I would like to let you know that you are not eligible right now but once you enter in the final year of B.Ed degree next year you can apply for KTET. |
