Sir , I have completed my graduation from IGNOU (specialization on public administration ) , am I eligible for MBA . If Yes , then please convey me the duration for completing my MBA and also I want to know the fee struction for full course.

Yes you are eligible for Master of Business Administration after completing graduation from IGNOU. Your distance education degree would not be a issue when applying for MBA course. There is the option of doing MBA from IGNOU as well but since you have asked for details about full course let me give it to you.


First thing to understand is that you can do MBA after distance education degree. The MBA is years long post graduation course. To get admission for MBA you will first have to appear for a entrance exam.


It is not possible today to get admission in a good MBA institute without the entrance exam. If you want admission in best b-schools which are considered to be Indian Institute of Management then you will have to appear for Common Admission Test.


Eligibility

1. Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.

2. At least 50 percent marks in graduation.

3. SC/ST candidates need 45 percent marks.


I should warn you that procedure of getting admission for MBA in IIMs is not easy. Even after clearing the CAT exam you will have to go through written test followed by group discussion and interview for admission.


Besides studying in IIM is quite expensive as well. It will easily cost you more than Rs 10 Lakh for MBA from IIMs. Therefore unless you can afford it, don't seek admission in IIMs.


There are other options. You can appear for Management Aptitude Test which has only the requirement of a graduation degree. Percentage is not a issue. This test is widely accepted by universities across the country. Some of them are affordable to everyone.


I can not give you a specific fee structure for MBA simply because each college has different fee for the course. But you can expect to shelve out 3-5 Lakh for MBA course.

MBA is the only way to get HR posts

HR posts are very less in the markets and there are many candidates avaiable with MBA qualifications, so company prefer to hire them

I would suggest that you should try to do MBA

MBA is a two year post Graduation course

Selection procedure for the MBA course involves:
>> Written Test
>> Group Discussion
>> Interviews


If you want to go for MBA than you have to appear for the below tests:

>> CAT-- Conducted by IIM, Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass with minimum 50% marks

>> SNAP- conducted by Symbiosis, Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass with minimum 50% marks

>> MAT- Conducted by AIMA ,Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass

>> XAT-Conducted by XLRI ,Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass

i have not completed my graduation can i get admission in mba distance education

I am pursuing CA and along with this i have done B.com 1 year programme and got A grade marks. Now the question is can i study MBA from IIM when i searched on internet i found minimum 3 years B.com is required. so if any one knows pls reply me.
