The paper on Data Structure and Algorithms is coded as CST 103 and is part of the course in Advanced Diploma in Information Technology from Indira Gandhi National Open University. It is a paper based on the theoretical as well as the application part of this subject and is based in English language.

Paper pattern:

The paper on Data Structure and Algorithms coded as CST 103 is a paper having both a practical as well as a theoretical paper. The practical paper has  two questions and one is required to attempt both these questions. The paper has a weight age of 25 % and each question carries 10 marks. The paper on the theoretical concept has two sections. Section A  has three questions and all the questions are compulsory.The section B has an option of choosing any two questions to be attempted from the three given question. All the question carry equal marks in this section and all the questions has sub questions to it.

Maximum marks and time allotted:

The marks allotted to the on Data Structure and Algorithms paper in the theoretical paper is 50 marks and in the practical paper it is 30 with a weight age of 25 %.The time allotted to complete the paper on theoretical concepts is 2 hours where as the practical paper is of 1 hour duration.
