The paper on The Structure of English Papers is one of the integral parts in the course in Certificate in Teaching of English from Indira Gandhi National Open University. The paper on The Structure of English is coded as CTE-2 and is part of the five papers that are encountered in this course.
Paper pattern:
The paper on The Structure of English one of the Certificate in Teaching of English is a subjective paper. There are five questions in this paper and one has to compulsorily answer all of these questions. The questions have been divided in to sub questions. There are a variety of question pattern like completion of sentences, marking correct and incorrect sentences, transcribing of words using phonetic symbols. All these questions are to be necessarily attempted as there are no options in these questions. Each of these questions carries equal marks and that is twenty marks in these five questions.
Maximum time and marks allotted:
The marks allotted to the paper on The Structure of English one of the Certificate in Teaching of English is 100 marks as there are five questions each of 20 marks. The time one is allotted to complete the subjective based paper is two hours only.
