Am I eligible for Ph.D without 6 months course after M.Phil distance?

Is M.phil distance liable to enterance in Ph.d with out 6 months course work?

Dear friend,
M.Phil is not compulsory in most of the universities which are offering Phd courses. But enterance for the university is must.
