Am i eligible for ssc graduate level exam which is held in April 2013 if my dob is
08-03-1977.

SSC CGL stands staff selection commision combined graduate level exam. Staff Selection commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination every year for various vacancies in Government Departments and ministries.

It has two levels . Tier-I and Tier-II . These are Objective type written test which is followed by personal interview and medical test of the candidates.

Following are the eligibility conditions for appearing for SSC CGL examination:
All Indian Nationals are eligible. Apart from this subject of Nepal and Bhutan.
Candidate should be between 18-27 years of age on the closing date of the examination. (Relaxation in age as per Government rules)
Educational Qualification :
A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
For the post of Compiler and Statistical investigator applicant should have studied Economics/statistics/mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at the level of graduation.
For the post of Assistants (CSS), computer proficiency is also a compulsory requirement.
Physical standard required for the post of Inspector (CENTRAL EXCISE/EXAMINER/ PREVENTIVE).
Male Candidates:
Height 157.5 cms.
Chest 81 cms.
Walking: 1600 m in 15 mins.
Cycling: 8 Kms. in 30 mins.

Female Candidates :
Height 152 cms.
Weight 48 Kgs.
Walking: 1000 m in 20 mins.
Cycling: 3 Kms. in 25 mins.

For the post of Inspector CBI :
Height for male 165 cms and 150 cms for females.
