I'm a open degree student,so i have doubt that a open degree student is eligible for sub inspector of police?

Yes, you are eligible for Sub Inspector post with open degree.

The full details about the eligibility requirements are given below:

- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The educational qualification required is a bachelors level degree in any stream from any recognized university.
- The age should be between 20 - 25 years.
- There is 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 5 years relaxation for the candidates who have achieved distinctions in sports.
- The height should be 170 Cms. The weight should be proportional to height.
- The chest should be 81 Cms and 85 Cms after full expansion.

The above mentioned are basic eligibility requirements. If you meet the eligibility requirements then you can apply for the exam by visiting the official website of UPSC or your state public service commission website.

Yes you can eligible as open degree is considered as same as regular degree.. but you have to keep in mind that degree should be done from any recognised university
