Any chance for BSc courses in Physics/Astrophysics if I am studying in 12th standard


I am studing at 12th standard.Is there any chance of taking B.Sc courses in Physics/astrophysics?If any,give details pls...

After 10+2, you can pursue either B.Sc. in Astrophysics or B.Tech in Astrophysics.

Here are the list of colleges from which you can pursue these courses.
  • Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune
  • National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, TIFR (Pune)
  • Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad
  • Raman Research Institute (RRI), Bangalore
  • Aryabhata Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), Nainital
  • Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bangalore
  • Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)
  • Space Science Centre, ISRO, Thiruvananthapuram
  • Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai

For admission to Indian Institute of Astrophysics, (IIA) Bangalore., you will have to qualify IIAST Exam.

IIAST Exam will be conducted on 12th December 2015.

Last date to apply for IIAST was 20 November 2015.

After 10+2, you can pursue either B.Sc. in Astrophysics or B.Tech in Astrophysics. You must have 12th in the physics, chemistry, Maths/Biology stream.
