Re: Availability of government jobs for Mechanical Engineers with 57.5 percent marks?
1. The recruitment to major PSUs is done on basis of rank in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Other than GATE scorecard, they ask for minimum of 60% marks in bachelor's degree in technology or engineering.
2. The best opportunity for you to get government job is through Indian Engineering Services examination conducted by UPSC. If you technically sound then you must prepare for this exam. It is the best exam for graduate engineers to get Grade A government jobs. 3. You can also apply for SSC JE, RRB JE examinations. |
