Is B.Tech computer science student eligible for M.tech in aeronautical engineering or aircraft maintenance or any other aeronautics course?

No, this is not possible for you to do M.Tech in Aeronautical engineering as you are belonging to the computer science branch.
You can apply for your field related subjects. As you are from computer sc. then you can apply for Software Engineering, DBMS, DSA, IT etc.

You are eligible for the course.First you have to apply for GATE exam.GATE Paper must be Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or XE

You should appear GATE to get admission for the Mtech course in a good college.

sorry to say dear you are not applicable for m-tech in aeronautical engineering.

Because you have completed b-tech in computer science.

So you can apply computer science.

Also you can try for some certificate course in aeronautical engineering.

The eligibility criteria for M.Tech in aeronautical engineering is

bachelor’s degree i.e., the students should have their bachelor’s degree. The

students appearing for M.Tech in aeronautical engineering should have a

minimum age of 21 years. For admission in M.Tech in aeronautical engineering

one should have to clear the GATE exam or for abroad studies they have to

clear GRE i.e., (graduate record examination).One can also apply for the

same if he/she has M.Sc degree in aeronautics or aerospace.

Eligibility for appearing M.Tech (Aeronautics) at IIT:-
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in aerospace engineering with 60% marks (or) candidates with Bachelor's Degree in any other branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, and other allied branches, if they have 60% marks in aggregate and if they have valid GATE score, are eligible for admission in the following discipline:

Aerodynamics, Aerospace Propulsion, Aerospace Structure

For MTech in aeronautical engineer you need to have a First class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or allied branches are eligible for admission to specific specializations of aeronautical Engineering,and also they should have valid GATE score in disciplines to take admission in top colleges like IIT's and other universities...............

So, you are eligible for Aeronautical engineer in M.tech..

no B.tech computer science students are not eligible for M.tech in aeronautical engineering. computer science and aeronautical engineering is totally different. after completion of B.tech in computer science you should show interest on aeronautical engineering. you should choose subject from computer science for M.Tech study.

Different colleges have different requirements for M.tech

however

generally a person from Mech, electrical, elecs

aeronautics, aerospace etc. such courses can get admission in

M.Tech courses for Aeronautical. engineering.

The candidate should be an engineer is Aerospace engineering or Aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering with at least 50% or equivalent CGPA to get admission for M.Tech Aeronautical

i am very sorry to say that you are not eligible for the MTech in Aeronautical engineering. Only the student of Mechanical engineering is eligible for this course.But you can do MTech in your own subject.

No. you can't do M.tech in Aeronautical after B.Tech Computer science.

You are not eligiable for that.

as Aeronautical Engineering and computer science engineering both are different field of engineering.

both are different specialization.

Aeronautical Engineering is core branch of engineering, it is a specialization of Mechanical engineering.
where as computer science engineering is computer engineering they are mainly deal with software filed.

so it is not possible to graduation in one specialization and master in other specialization.

basically both are different trade.

so you must do M.tech in Computer science/IT/VLSI etc.
