Yes, BA 1st year student can pursue DPharmacy.

You have to pursue D. Pharmacy with distance learning because you can't pursue 2 courses same time as regular student.

If you want to pursue D. Pharmacy as regular student than you have to drop BA course.

With minimum qualification of matriculation you are eligible to pursue D. Pharmacy.

To pursue Diploma in Pharmacy course the minimum education required is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and/or Mathematics as main subjects from a recognized board of education.

So, being a first year student of BA (Bachelor of Arts) degree course, you are eligible for pursuing Diploma in Pharmacy degree course if you hold the minimum education required for the same course. Also, you will have to quit B.A. degree course as Diploma in Pharmacy degree course is not offered in distance mode.
