Am I able to become sales tax officer or either for the income tax officer

Yes, you can become Sales Tax or Income Tax Officer after LLB.

Educational Qualification:-
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised University or equivalent as on the date of birth.

Age limit:-
Age limit is between 18 to 27 years.

Age relaxation:-
For OBC - 3 years
For SC/ST - 5 years


The selection process for SSC CGL examination consists of a stages. After qualifying each stage and scoring good marks in each stage, you will be eligible for the income tax officer.

To become an Income Tax Officer or Sales Tax Officer, You must have completed a Graduation degree in any subject from any recognized University or Institute and you will have to appear in SSC CGL Exam and you have to qualify for the exam to get eligible for this post.
