i have completed aircraft maintenance engineering but have dropped the plan of getting into aviation again because of the corruption in the field .
no i am pursuing distance b com from DU.i know i am asking this question very early but i have to plan my career again
i want to step into banking as a P.O.(i know i need to be a grad then)

i just wanted to ask that if i would be a p.o. then what would be the max salary and if i pursue distance mba with that then would it help me getting a managerial position along with good salary

You are not too early but its the right time to decide about your career and plan it and frame it in a way you want.
You should go for BAnk PO jobs in comparison of doing MBA from distance learning programme.
IF you want to do both then you should first go for MBA regular from agood institute then after that or alongwith that you can give exams for Bank PO jobs.

mba part time is advisable if you are working as that can help you enhance your skills and your qualifications.But if you are planning for direct job through course bank po after grad is preferable as after few years you can become a branch manager of a reputed bank.Mba full time is also a good option only if you are willing to devote 2 yrs.And to go with that mba full time from a decent college is strictly advised as other colleges would land u up in the same position from where you started your journey.

Yes, definitely you can apply for bank P.O job. You can also do MBA through distance learning program which will earn you a managerial job.

The difference with these two is that for getting high salary you have to wait for years for promotion of post, but in case of an MBA you can join in any company as a manager giving you high salary.

So it is your choice which way to go!

No, problem with your decision.
Now you have decide to choose commerce field, its good because commerce is a field where is too much scope for every student.
But please complete your graduation first and then give bank po exam.
You have to work very hard for clearing this exam.
And after joining any bank you should join MBA from distance.
Its definetly increase your pay scale.
But please complete MBA very soon because without masters you can not achieve your aim.

It is a saying where there is a will there is a way. So if you are dtermined hard to go for bank PO prepare yourself for it mentally.what you have decided is correct and go for it.In banking sector there are frequent promotion so if you have additional degree it will be beneficial to you so your idea of completing MBA distance education is right. So first complete your graduation and go for it.

sorry to sasy u that u are not eligible to sit for any banking sector exam ,, you have to have minimum 50 % and max 60% marks in graduation

job as a bank po is very good for you.its good that you have decided your goal so early.
as a bank po you will get a minimum salary of 20,000. depend on the bank profile.
you can do distance course for MBA for the promotion point of view or for better salary in multinational company...

Till now all the bank conduct written test for PO so I don't think that they will anyhow recruit you on the basis of interview only after MBA.
YOu definately need to appear for the test.
As far exam is concerned will be held because the number of students appearing for PO exam is always more.
Only interview is held in those case where the number of applicants are less.
Now the bank Po exam will be held combined for all the banks in upcoming days

I am doing MCA and now in III semester. I had cleared SBI clerical exam and going to join SBI. As from now onwards I need two years to complete my MCA and so for MBA. Plz suggest me what is going to help me in my career MCA or MBA.

Congrats! on your success.
since you have got a job you must go further.
But as you are pursuing your MCA you should try that any how you can complte it as you are just midway in 3 semesnter.
Yes, you can do one thing that just go to the bank when they call you gfor joining asks them for extension. They will give extension for the time duration for which you ask.
In that time period you can complete your 4th semester also.
And accordingly you will complete your 3 year very easily.
But you should do so only when you are doing MCA willingly.
Other you can join sbi now and do MBA through correspondace through distance.

You can appear for bank PO examination after graduation.

But you should fulfill these criteria :

1.Educational qualification :
You must complete graduation for appearing in the PO examination.

2.Age limitation :
Your age must be within 21 to 30 years of age.

3.Percentage required :
You should carry minimum 60%marks in your graduation.

If you have all these criteria then you can appear for these banks :

>>SBI
>>UBI
>>ICICI
>>AXIS BANK
>>RBI etc...

Yes you can.AFter completing MBA write CAT exam,.Some of the recognized universities and institutes are demanding at least 50% of marks in the graduation level. There is entrance tests conducted for getting admission into a Business school.Based upon the CAT score you will eligible for MBA.As you are intersted in top university IGNOU you can easily get admitted in that if you score good.

you can apply for BANK PO entrance examinations after graduation.

if you hold 60% marks in graduation from recognized university and if you are not more than 30 yrs old.
Generally Entrance examination consist questions on Quantitative aptitude,English,reasoning,General awareness and computer.

There will be around 50 questions on each subject and you have to perform at least 35 questions correct that's so quickly as time given to solve these papers are really very limited.

For detail information on banks jobs you should regularly read employment newspaper.

There are also private and public banks in INDIA . you can apply in these banks also how ever these banks prefer regular MBA candidates but if your personality and communication skill is up to the mark you can still be selected in the BANKS.some of private and public banks even conduct 2/3 rounds to select their candidates like written exam and interview round etc.

Several private companies also need manager and they publish their vacancy in the daily newspapers like THE TIMES OF INDIA or hindustan times . you should read these papers regularly for any jobs suits you.

To apply for the MBA program the eligibility criterion is a degree in any streams.
