Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
Dear friend
The BBA course is more Job oriented type. It is actually a professional course. But as far as knowledge about accounts, economy etc is concerned B. Com is more knowledgeable. If you are interested in further studies then BCom from DU is much better than BBA. Thank You |

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
Hello friend,
Bachelor's in business administration (BBA) is ofcourse one of the better option but only if you are planning to pursue MBA in future. BBA provides strong base needed to pursue MBA and BCom does not do so to a large extent. A bachelor's programme is basically a preparatory course for masters degree programme and hence it should be done with proper planning. So, according to me the one who is planning to go for MCom must purse BCom and the one who is planning to go for MBA must pursue BBA. A bachelor's degree, in the present scenario, is not enough to fetch you a good job and therefore you must make a proper planning regarding your masters degree programme and depending on it, you should select your bachelor's degree programme. |

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
One cannot fix the rating for BBA or B.Com
Each field is better in its own aspects. B.Com gives openings for Banking, Accountancy, Finance, Cost Accounts. BBA gives openings for Marketing, Management options. We cannot underestimate or rate any stream of study in a rating scale. Any field, if you have thoroughly understood, gained sufficient knowledge about it will take you to high position. How much do you know about the subject does matter nowadays than acquiring Degree. |

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
Hello Umair,
Personally i think that these days,BBA is better than B.Com(pass) course. The value of the pass course is much lower than that of BBA. Graduating with BBA has better future. Because in B.Com course, you don't have the business administration part and the management section which are on demand in the market. B.Com has general study topics with a little subject definitions. BBA has all the sections covering like finance, marketing etc. So B.Com has no specialisation in it which is found in BBA. Good luck! |

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
Both the courses are nearly equivalent. the only difference in them is that BBA is management course whereas in Bcom major portion covered is accounts and business studies. As both the courses are equivalent you can't say any of the course good or bad.
Yes, it depends on your choice what you want to become later on. If you want to go for MBA than better to go for BBA and if interested in CA/CS go for B.Com Best regards!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
Bcom graduates are equipped with accounting and finance. The basics regarding management will be clear if you opt BBA..MBA is the continuation of BBA. B.Com and BBA both have subjects related to MBA.It is your personal interest to choose the course. Both the courses are equally good.Apart from MBA you can also opt for C.A. MCA is another option for which B.com with computer application will be helpful.

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
Dear friend
Both are good course ! But, its totally depends on your personal interest, If you are interested in accounting professional course then b.com is best, and if you are interested in business administration course then BBA is best option for you. But according to me, B.com is best because it will give you more career options in future. And after completing B.com you can also go for MBA. After completing B.com, you can do any type of jobs either it is a accounting job Or administrative job. So, i will suggest you, to take B.com. |

I would suggest you to choose one course at a time as per your interest and that is sufficient to have a bright career. You might be thinking that if you don't do good in one then the other might help. But that is completely insane. Simply it can be understood that if you can't do good in one stream then how could you do two courses at a time Just do what you like. Both the courses are capable enough to produce an smart executive. Thank You |

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
Hi
Both the course have equal importance in their respective field. Both are equal if we compare on the basis of more jobs in respective field also. So there is nothing to be confused about the importance of the course just do the course in which you have more interest. Note one thing if you are interested in doing MBA in future then BBA is the best for you. Because when you do MBA then you have a link with your previous course which is easy to understood for you . GOOD LUCK |

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
Dear friend,
According to me B.Com as well as BBA both is better as they have their own importance at their own field. After B.Com you can apply For M.Com or CA . But after BBA you can apply for MBA. B.Com student can also apply for MBA you have to give an entrance exam. To get admission to reputed college for MBA , you have to qualify in CAT or MAT or SNAP etc exam and then after you have to do well in GD & PI exam conducted by the college It will be better if you join a coaching classes like T.I.M.E or IMS for MBA |

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
Both the courses are different in nature...
BBA is basically about administration and after BBA you need to do MBA for better prospects, and this will help you grow your managerial skills.. Whereas B.Com is all about commerce accounting/taxation, it is better than BBA because it opens up better career options like you can think of doing CA/ICWA/CS side by side and if you are interested in Finance/MBA then it will provide better understanding. |

Hello,
Its hard to say that this course is better than that. Both are good and has equal scope for both the course.I feel taking b.com will be more better than taking BBA as it teaches you fully about the accounting if you are interested in. Best of luck. |

Re: Is bba better than b.com (programme)?
BBA you will be looking at:
- Sales Management like Corporate sales manager/specialist - Marketing Management like Product Management - E-Commerce Management - Advertising and Promotions Management including events - Customer Portfolio Management - Business Intellegence Management and Strategy - IT Manager (BBA works good with a IT certificate like CISCO) - Business Consultant It's a corporate environment degree, purely business driven!!!! After BBA you can do your honours and then MBA or if you have BBA with 3-5year experience you can go drirectly and do your Master degree in business management (MBA) |

hi friend..
i would say both have there equal advantages and disadvantages,so it clearly depends on you..cause for bba it is a job oriented course..so if you think that u don't want to go for further studies and you directly want to join the job sector with good salary i would tell you to do bba.. but on the other hand..if you want to go for further studies and you want to work abroad and so on i would suggest you to do b.com it has more scope in that field.. so choose wisely.. hope these helps you.. thank you.. |
