IAS eligibility says that you have to be within 21 to 30 years of age, and that you should be a graduate in any discipline.

Since you are a BCA graduate, and obviously you are between 21 - 30 years, so you can definitely apply for IAS.

Yes. Candidates of BCA are eligible for IAS Entrance Exam. Because the minimum eligibility criteria with which a candidate can appear for IAS Entrance Exam is by having a Graduation degree with any of the stream from a recognized university.

For IAS, one has to go through the civil services examination being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commisssion). The selection procedure in order to become IAS officer is by
-CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
-Civil Services Main Examination
-Interview

As far as age criteria is concerned, one should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this exam.

Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category.

But heavy competition is there for this exam. You should have strong preparation in order to crack this exam. Choose optional subjects and start preparing for Main Exam too.

For this academic year civil services exam was over. If you are interested, you can appear for upcoming civil services examination which is going to be conducted in the next academic year on 20-05-2012.

Any graduate is eligible for IAS exam.The minimum qualification for IAS is graduation in any stream from a AICTE OR UGC recognised university.Regular and distance mode both are eligible.

Yes B.C.A graduates are eligible for IAS exams.Actually the minimum educational qulaification is that the aspirant should be a graduate of any stream from a recognised university.

Yes, a graduate in any discipline is eligible to apply for the civil service exam provided she/he is within the age limit of 21-30 years.
The civil service exam comprise of :
Civil service aptitude test
Main exam
Interview

The civil service aptitudes test comprise of two compulsory papers which every candidate has to appear for. The questions are based on general studies and civil service aptitude.

In the main exam, apart from the compulsory papers, you will have to option to select two subjects as optional papers.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS EXAM

Yes , BCA student are eligible for IAS exam.

This exam is conducted by UPSC in once time in year.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.

But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

Optional subjects for IAS main exam:

Economics , Electrical Engineering,Geography, Geology ,History, Law,Management,Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Science, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science and International Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology,Statistics, Zoology, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Anthropology,Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Commerce and Accountancy.

You can choose the subject in sense of your strength .

The IAS selection process is consist in three way

3)Inter View.

The minimum qualification needed to apply for the examination for the job of an IAS officer is Graduation in any stream from a recognized institute.
As BCA is a Graduation course so a BCA graduate has every chance to apply for the examination.
