It is good thing that you are alert for AIEEE preparation right from passing Class 10 from CBSE. Class 11 is the appropriate stage when a student should start preparation for Competitive exams like AIEEE, IIT-JEE, etc.

To sit for the AIEEE exam you need to ensure minimum 50% in aggregate at 10+2 level and 50% in PCM. It is a tough exam to crack since it is an all india exam but if you start preparation in an advance then you can make it to the top IIIT's and NIT's. Of all the three subjects in the IIT entrance exam(IIT-JEE), maths is regarded to be the most difficult in terms of level of application and also the time required per question in maths is more than the time per question in physics or chemistry. So maths plays a crucial role to determine your marks and rank in the JEE. The portion can only be mastered by consistent practice of sums.
